Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that provides light weight and excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold makes it's easy to move and also freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines to an almost flat position and there's a large canopy and storage bin. Newborn suitability? Yes, with an additional carrycot.
A well-constructed suspension and air-filled tires can help you navigate through rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging but you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old before doing this.
Ickle Bubba Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is an excellent choice for parents who want an easy-to-use buggy that has enhanced features. It comes as an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for infants, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat as well as a choice of a car seat, so you can get everything you need in one place.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to comprehend why it has received the highest praise from customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also easy to construct. In fact I was able to get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that it also included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!
It has a nice wide, comfortable seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is easy to use. The basket has plenty of space, and I find it nice that the handle bar features an area to keep your phone and keys secure.
3 wheel pushchair is a bit low, which can be a problem for parents who are taller. It's covered with a soft, comfy leather-like material, and is easy to clean.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for parents who like to explore and are always on the go. The large pneumatic wheels can be utilized on field and forest paths. The front wheel can be locked and can be rotated to increase the flexibility. The stroller also features five-point safety harnesses with a front bar to keep your child secure on all journeys. The parking brake will keep the stroller in place while you take a rest. The seat can be adjusted to lay flat and the canopy can be opened to allow for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit the needs of dad or mum.
Whether you're going for an easy jog or a hike that lasts a while, the Runner is ready to accompany you on your journeys with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise an unhurried ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets and crowded sidewalks and the stroller folds easily to fit into car boot spaces and storage areas.
Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a bit more difficult to navigate than its predecessor, and the locking system isn't as user-friendly (requiring two buttons on each side of the push bar). The handlebar is higher than some competitors and therefore it may not work for smaller parents but overall, it's a sturdy and versatile stroller worth a look for families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me pacing
The Pace is another great offering from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that prides itself on making simple and well-designed essentials for parents. It's the newest and most expensive addition to their bargain lightweight stroller range and like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible so you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace comes with some amazing design elements, including a rose-gold tint on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims that really distinguish it from. The grey, tan and cream fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are super fashionable and there's an option to add the handle for the cover and bumper bar as well.
The stroller seat is used from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has multiple lie-back positions, comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.
What's more, when it's folded, the Pace measures up at 56 32 x 43 cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among others. It's also easy to fold, thanks to two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side which just click in and pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5,
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis, with a shorter wheel-distance makes it more agile than its predecessor. I tested it alongside my two kids - a toddler and an eight week old - over rough terrain as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.
The large, puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in size are able to handle different terrains. The wheels have a flap that can be opened or closed to let more air in when needed. It's slightly larger than most pushchairs, yet it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you push it across bumpy surfaces.
three wheel pushchair can be washed by machine, and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs and I was comfortable with it on busy urban streets. A bonus feature is that it incorporates accessory points, meaning you can add footmuffs, parasols, changing bags and even a tray for snacks. The hood can be used to block out the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. It took about 20 minutes to assemble the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it to the seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge
No matter if you prefer running in the morning crisp air or a moonlit stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a fun-filled adventure. This all-terrain jogging stroller is designed for maximum performance to keep you and your child active.
The huge 12" and 16" foam-filled tires provide an easy ride, no matter the terrain. The suspension is patented, allowing you to glide over woodland paths with minimal impact on your child's legs and rear. The handbrake that is designed for performance allows you to stop quickly even while jogging down a downhill slope.
From bustling market stalls to street musicians singing, the Ridge navigates all your city's most popular scenes with ease. The spacious basket can hold everything you need and market purchases, while the large canopy provides protection from the sun and wind. The large front canopy unzips to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that make it easy to observe your baby's surroundings.
The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to choose whether your child is facing you or the world ahead. The simple foot brake system makes it a breeze for parents who are new. One of the best features is the reversible handlebar, which allows you to adjust it to your height and preference. The Ridge's fold, unlike other jogging strollers is reliable and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
The new pushchair from iCandy is truly groundbreaking and has a lot of features that are really sure to amaze parents. It has a Multi-Mode wheelbase and LED Visibility Hub light that's a first in the industry. It comes with a built-in Ride-on Board that saves on future costs, and allows tired toddlers to accompany the family during outings.
The Core is available as a travel system or a single seat. It is compatible with the most popular car seats, including the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It also has the biggest seat unit in the iCandy range, meaning it can last through your baby's first years and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, it's luxuriously constructed and comes with premium knitted jersey fabric. The child's adjustable bumper bar and the parent's adjustable handlebar are made of soft leatherette. The calf support that folds away are also extremely comfortable for children.
I was amazed by the ease of fold and collapse - it only takes one hand, even with the seat unit in place. It fits easily in your car or hallway and is ideal for travelling. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, such as a matching changing rucksack or footmuff/liner.
